McDougal scored on an 8-yard run at the end of a 51-yard drive to give the Rams a 21-17 lead going into the fourth quarter.

The Rams scored twice more to put the game away. Quarterback Matt Newton, who completed 22 of 32 passes for 227 yards, threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Joey Cuppari to make it 28-17. Then Rahsaan Sanders scored on a 6-yard run with 5:05 remaining.
