RENO, Nev. (AP) -- David Neill passed for 405 yards and four touchdowns and ran for a score as Nevada defeated North Texas 41-28 Saturday in the Big West Conference.

Neill was 29-of-38 without an interception and national receiving leader Trevor Insley caught 14 for 263 yards and two TDs for Nevada (3-5, 2-1 Big West). Insley has 99 catches for 1,461 yards.

North Texas (2-6, 1-3 Big West) finished with its highest point total of the season, but was outgained 558 yards to 343 in losing for the seventh straight time in Reno.

The Wolf Pack held Eagles running back Ja'Quay Wilburn, who had been averaging 107 yards per game, to 80 yards on 20 carries.

North Texas quarterback Richard Bridges completed only 15 of 41 passes for 204 yards.

Neill threw touchdown passes of 20 yards to Jermaine Brown, 42 yards to Insley and 9 yards to Cle Brooks in the first half as the Wolf Pack took a 19-6 lead at the break.

Neill was 15-of-20 for 202 yards in the first half. Insley had eight catches for 135 yards.

Jason Ball kicked 29- and 38-yard field goals for North Texas in the first half.
