Gophers Are Golden

Grant Potulny
Potulny is the only non-Minnesotan on the Gophers.
This time, Minnesota's season wouldn't end at the hands of Maine. After Matt Koalska's goal sent the game to overtime, Grant Potulny scored on a rare power play in the extra session to lead the Golden Gophers to a 4-3 win for their first NCAA title in 23 years. Minnesota also avenged its early OT loss to Maine in last year's tourney.
