NEW YORK -- New York Knicks forward Marcus Camby sprained his right knee and was helped off the court in the second quarter of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.

Marcus Camby is attended to by a trainer after injuring himself in the second period of Game 3 on Saturday.

He was taken to Beth Israel Hospital for an MRI, which showed no ligament damage. He was listed as day-to-day, but suited up and did play in Monday's Game 4.

The Knicks beat Indiana 98-95, cutting the Pacers' lead to two games to one. The Knicks tied the series at 2-2 on Monday.

Camby was driving to the basket in front of Indiana's Austin Croshere with 8:49 left in the quarter when he slipped. His right leg slid out from underneath him.

Camby fell to the court and remained on his back for a minute before being helped up and taken to the locker room for observation by team physician Dr. Norman Scott.

Scott said Camby had a sprained medial capsule. Camby, who didn't put any weight on his right leg, had his knee iced before leaving for the hospital.

He had one rebound in five minutes before the injury.

The Knicks' frontcourt already was short-handed because of Patrick Ewing's foot injury, which sidelined him for the game. Ewing was injured in Thursday's Game 2.
