The Knicks' amazing success in the postseason puts a very positive spin on next season. Rather than this pick being part of a roster overhaul, it can be a carefully selected piece to fit into the Knicks' rotation. Patrick Ewing's injury, and the subsequent lack of depth shown by the Knicks' frontcourt against San Antonio, should point all of New York's draft attention toward shoring up that front line. A point-forward would also be a nice pick, allowing Latrell Sprewell and Allan Houston to play side by side in the backcourt.
