MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Lindsey Hunter and Ray Allen scored 22 points apiece as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the short-handed Atlanta Hawks 110-86 in an exhibition game Saturday night.

Jim Jackson had 22 points for the Hawks, who just had eight players available for the game, their fifth straight preseason loss. Dikembe Mutombo, who has a mild case of malaria, and Roshown McLeod, whose mother died, missed game along with five injured players.

Glenn Robinson scored 14 points for Milwaukee after missing the last four games with a sore left knee. Scott Williams played for the first time in the preseason and had five rebounds after missing four games with back spasms.

The Bucks used a 17-6 run late in the third period to take control. Allen had seven points during the run capped by Darvin Ham's dunk, which gave the Bucks an 86-66 lead.

Hunter's third 3-pointer in the fourth period gave Milwaukee a 102-75 lead. The Hawks never no closer than 23 points thereafter.

Sam Cassell had 15 of his 21 points, and Hunter and Robinson added 10 apiece for the Bucks in the first half. But the Hawks stayed close by shooting 50 percent from the floor and trailed 61-51 at the break.

DerMarr Johnson had 13 points, and Jason Terry and Lorenzen Wright added 11 apiece for Atlanta. Hanno Mottola had 10 points and nine rebounds.
