RICHMOND, Va. (AP) _ Mark Blount hit two free throws with 17.7 seconds left in overtime Saturday night and the Boston Celtics rebounded after blowing a 13-point fourth-quarter lead to beat the Washington Wizards 101-100 at Richmond Coliseum.

The Celtics led 77-64 after newly acquired Bryant Stith's three-point play with 9:36 left. But the Wizards rallied, drawing even at 91 when Michael Smith tipped in Richard Hamilton's miss at the buzzer.

Hamilton finished with 19 points and Juwan Howard had 21 for Washington.

The Celtics were led by Antoine Walker with 28 points and Kenny Anderson with 19.

Boston took a 97-93 lead on two free throws by Walker with 3:38 left in overtime, but Washington came back to take a 100-99 lead on Chris Whitney's layup with 1:25 left.

After Blount hit both of his free throws to restore the lead, former Maryland star Obinna Ekezie missed a short jumper for Washington and Walker rebounded.
