MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ Vinny Del Negro scored 21 points and Ray Allen and Glenn Robinson 18 apiece as the Milwaukee Bucks remained undefeated in exhibition play with a 107-96 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.

Milwaukee went ahead for good late in the first quarter and led by 14 points in the second. Dallas came back behind 26 points from Erick Strickland, who threw down a ferocious dunk in Allen's face in the fourth.

The Mavericks pulled within 86-80 on Cedric Ceballos' layup with eight minutes to play, but Del Negro had 10 fourth-quarter points and Robinson scored on three straight possessions in the final minutes.

At 4-0, Milwaukee is the only undefeated team in the Central Division exhibition standings. Ceballos had 19 points for Dallas (1-2).

In a game played at the University of Wisconsin's Kohl Center, Michael Finley, the best player in school history, had a homecoming to forget.

Finley, the Badgers' career scoring leader and a two-time All-Big Ten selection, missed all nine of his shots and had three turnovers before leaving the game in the third quarter to rest a bruised heel that kept him out of the Mavericks' last exhibition game.

That didn't stop the Madison fans from giving Finley three standing ovations. The Badgers' booster club also framed one of Finley's jerseys and presented it to him, and he thanked the crowd in a brief speech at halftime.

Finley was outscored 3-0 by Bucks rookie forward Paul Grant, another Wisconsin alum who got multiple ovations.

Bucks guard Sam Cassell sat out the game to rest. Mavericks center Shawn Bradley was out with a strained lower back, and guard Hubert Davis stayed in Dallas with the flu.
