Keith Olbermann of all people came up to me at Shea Stadium last week and put a piece of paper down in front of me.
It had the first and last names of the four Cardinals pitchers with long names -- the three we've been talking about and Garrett Stephenson. He suggested that their 64 total letters must be the four longest for any teammates ever.
Next thing I knew, I mentioned this to David Vincent, who ran a program to determine the longest and shortest names ever of four teammates.
