GAME LOG
BOSTON (Ticker) -- Inclement weather kept Pedro Martinez and the Boston Red off the field for a third straight day. Saturday's game between the Red Sox and Cleveland Indians at Fenway Park was postponed due to dismal weather and field conditions. The game was rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 1:05 p.m. ET. More inclement weather is forecast for Sunday, and another postponement could force the teams to play six games in three days when the Indians return to Boston for a series Sept. 19-21. Friday's scheduled game between the teams was postponed by rain, as was Boston's game in Detroit on Thursday night. Martinez, the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner, has not pitched since April 15, meaning he will have seven days of rest if able to take the mound on Sunday. | ALSO SEE Baseball Scoreboard Cleveland Clubhouse Boston Clubhouse RECAPS Toronto 8 NY Yankees 2
