TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) _ Hanley Frias drove in two runs with a two-out double down the left-field line in the ninth inning Friday to give the Arizona Diamondbacks a 7-6 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

It was the second come-from-behind victory in as many days for Arizona. Manager Buck Showalter realizes such resilience in the spring doesn't mean much once the real season begins.

``But it makes of the rest of the day go better,'' he said. ``I'd lot rather have it this way than the other way.''

Randy Johnson threw three scoreless innings in his second outing for Arizona. He allowed one hit, an infield single by Jose Valentin, struck out five and walked three, then made a quick exit for his home in Paradise Valley.

``He's fine. His arm strength's good,'' Showalter said. ``He touched 99 (mph) and pitched at 95-96.''

Umpire Mark Carlson threw Arizona's Turner Ward out of the game in the ninth for hollering from the dugout when teammate Lenny Harris was at the plate.

``All he said was `Good grief,' '' Harris said. ``You know, like Charlie Brown, `Good grief.' I told the ump, `Man, you're tough.' ''

Jon Garland pitched three perfect innings for Chicago, striking out three.

Magglio Ordonez doubled and hit his fourth home run of the spring for the White Sox.

Chicago and Arizona share Tucson Electric Park as their spring home and already have played five games, with the Diamondbacks winning four.

After falling behind 5-1, Arizona tied it with a four-run eighth.

Chicago left-hander Jim Parque, who signed a $3 million, three-year contract earlier in the day, walked Colbrunn with the bases loaded for one run. Second baseman Esteban Beltre booted a routine double-play grounder to allow two runs, then Colbrunn scored the tying run on Travis Lee's soft one-hopper to second.

The White Sox went ahead 6-5 in the ninth when Jeff Leifer bowled over catcher Rod Barajas to score from second on Craig Wilson's single.

Frias' shot over third base off Bobby Howry easily drove in one run. Luis Ordaz, who was 2-for-2, scored the game winner, eluding Humerto Quintero's tag with a head-first slide.
