At Magdeburg, Germany -- Sven Ottke stopped Thomas Tate on cuts in the 11th round to retain his IBF super-middleweight title.

Sunday, Sept. 5
At Tokyo -- Cho In-joo scored a 12-round unanimous decision over Keiji Yamaguchi to retain the WBC super flyweight title.

Friday, Sept. 10
At Mt. Pleasant, Mich. (ESPN2 Friday Night Fights ) -- Bronco McKart won a 10-round unanimous decision over Jason Papillion, junior middleweights; Derrick Jefferson scored a fourth-round TKO over Melvin Foster, heavyweights; Demetrius Jenkins scored a third-round TKO over Porter Mayberry, light heavyweights; Ray Austin scored a first-round TKO over Zebielee Kimbrough, heavyweights; Damon McCreary won a unanimous decision over Jason Etianne Whitaker, light heavyweights.

At Madrid, Spain -- Javier Castillejo scored a seventh-round TKO over Paolo Roberto to retain the WBC junior middleweight title.

At Biloxi, Miss. -- Derrick Gainer knocked out Jay Cantu in the first round, junior lightweights; Lemuel Nelson won a 12-round split decision against Bernard Harris, lightweights; Ed Hopson won an eight-round unanimous decision over Luis Lizarrga, junior lightweights.

Saturday, Sept. 11
At Las Vegas -- Floyd Mayweather Jr, Las Vegas, stopped Carlos Gerena, Puerto Rico, by TKO after the seventh round to retain his WBC super featherweight title; Fred Norwood, St. Louis, won a unanimous decision over Juan Manuel Marquez, Mexico, 12, to retaining his WBA featherweight title.

At Las Vegas (ESPN2 Friday Night Fights) -- Antonio Diaz won a 12-round unanimous decision over Emanuel Burton, junior welterweights; Lamon Brewster knocked out Quinn Navarre in the first round, heavyweights; Cliff Etienne knocked out Darrell Morgan in the first round, heavyweights; Andrea Blevins scored a unanimous decision over Nina Ahlin.

Saturday, Sept. 18
At Las Vegas -- Felix Trinidad, Puerto Rico, won by majority decision over Oscar De La Hoya, East Los Angeles, Calif., 12, to retain the IBF and win the WBC welterweight titles; Vassiliy Jirov, Phoenix, stopped Dale Brown, Canada, 10, to retain the IBF cruiserweight title; Eric Morel, Madison, Wis., won by unanimous decision over Miguel Angel Granados, Mexico, 10, super flyweights.

At Orillia, Ontario -- Fitzroy Vanderpool, Canada, won by unanimous decision over Bryon Mackie, Canada, 12, to retain the WBF super welterweight title.

At Newark, N.J. -- Michael Covington scored a fifth-round TKO over Johnny Jones, welterweights.

Friday, Sept. 24
At Philadelphia (ESPN2 Friday Night Fights) -- Frankie Toledo earned a 10-round split decision over Orlando Canizales, featherweights; Billy Irwin knocked out Larry O'Shields in the sixth round, lightweights.

At Washington, D.C. -- William Joppy, Silver Springs, Md., stopped Julio Cesar Green, Bronx, N.Y., in the seventh round to retain WBA middleweight title; Keith Holmes, Washington, stopped Andrew Council, Lanham, Md., in the ninth round to retain WBC middleweight title.

Saturday, Sept. 25
At Miami -- Cesar Bazan, 137, Mexico, outpointed Joseph Michael Charles, 137, Trinidad, in eight rounds, lightweights; Alejandro Gonzalez knocked out Edwardo Barrios in the eighth round, featherweights; Ali Baba won a 12-round decision over Oscar Arciniega, flyweights.

At Cologne, Germany -- Vladimir Klitschko, Ukraine, stopped Axel Schulz, Germany, 18 seconds of the 8th, to win the vacant European heavyweight title.

At Temecula, Calif. -- Shane Mosley, Pomona, Calif., stopped Wilfredo Rivero, Puerto Rico, at 2:38 of the 10th round, welterweights; Lehlohonolo Ledwaba scored a fourth-round TKO over Edison Valencia to retain the IBF junior featherweight title.

At Corpus Christi, Texas -- Tony Ayala Jr. stopped Robert Koon in the fourth round, junior middleweights.

At Lake Tahoe, Nev. -- David Kamau won a 12-round decision over Marco Antonio Lizarraga to retain the NABO welterweight title; Ricky Quiles earned a majority decision over Cosme Rivera to win the NABO junior welterweights title.

At Bassett, Va. -- Oliver McCall vs. Samson Cohen was ruled no contest in the second round due to injury.

Monday, Sept. 27
At Inglewood, Calif. -- Tito Mendoza scored a 10-round majority decision over Julio Cesar De La Cruz, middleweights; Antonio Ramirez knocked out Rogelio Castaneda in the third round, lightweights.

At East St. Louis, Ill. -- Antonio Diaz won a 10-round unanimous decision over Daniel Jimenez, featherweights.
