MEN
Kuerten becomes repeat winner
His 1997 title is no longer a fluke. That's because Gustavo Kuerten won his second French Open title Sunday, beating Magnus Norman in the men's final 6-2, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 (8-6). The scruffy Brazilian first won at Roland Garros in 1997.

WOMEN
Pierce adds doubles title
Mary Pierce, who beat Conchita Martinez for the singles title Saturday, teamed with Martina Hingis to win the doubles title Sunday.

No. 5 Gustavo Kuerten needed 3 hours, 44 minutes to put away No. 3 Magnus Norman.
