Stoitchov scores, sets up winner

CHICAGO (AP) -- Hristo Stoitchkov tied the game in the 77th minute and assisted on Eric Wynalda's goal in overtime as the Chicago Fire beat the Dallas Burn 2-1 Saturday night.

Wynalda headed a pass from Stoitchkov past Dallas goalkeeper Matt Jordan as the Fire (11-4-3) earned their first overtime victory this season.

Dallas' Ariel Graziani opened the scoring in the 11th minute, scoring off a long pass from Chad Deering. Graziani outran three Chicago defenders to score his seventh goal of the season and extend his scoring streak to five matches.

Stoitchkov converted a penalty kick in the 77th minute, tying the game 1-1. Jordan came out to stop a breakaway by Jamar Beasley, but bumped Beasley and was called for a reckless foul.

The Fire have won five of their last six matches. Dallas slipped to 7-8-4.
