Dueling shutouts for Burn, Galaxy

DALLAS (AP) -- Dallas goalkeeper Matt Jordan earned his sixth shutout of the season, and Los Angeles goalkeeper Kevin Hartman earned his first as the Burn and Galaxy played to a 0-0 tie Saturday.

Los Angeles (7-4-5) and Dallas (6-6-2) also played to a scoreless draw on May 19.

Hartman was tested throughout by the Burn. He made a diving one-handed stop on a shot by Oscar Pareja in the 19th minute and finished with seven saves.

In the 60th minute, a shot by Burn forward Ariel Graziani hit the right post.

Dallas' Jason Kreis had the best scoring opportunity in overtime, but his shot sailed over the crossbar in the 95th minute.

Jordan preserved the shutout when he stopped Isaias Bardales' run on goal in the 85th minute.

Dallas outshot Los Angeles 26-10.

Los Angeles played without leading scorer Cobi Jones and defender Greg Vanney, who were called up to play for the U.S. National Team.
