Rhine scores twice, has assist in win

DALLAS (AP) -- Bobby Rhine scored a goal and had two assists as the Dallas Burn beat the D.C. United 3-0 Saturday for United's franchise-record fifth straight loss.

Dallas (5-5-1) got first-half goals from Ryan Suarez and Rhine to jump out to an early lead.

Suarez scored the game's first goal and his first of the season in the 18th minute on a pass from Rhine. Suarez hammered the shot from about five yards away into the left side of the goal. Jason Kreis also assisted.

Rhine came back to score his goal with a header into the center of the goal to make the score 2-0. Ariel Graziani and Jorge Rodriguez assisted on Rhine's fourth goal of the season.

Antonio Martinez scored on a breakaway goal for Dallas' final goal.

United are now 3-7 for the season.
