Mutiny drop sixth straight

FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) -- Wolde Harris scored two goals to lead the New England Revolution to a 3-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Mutiny on Saturday night.

The Revolution (4-7-1) opened the scoring in the 20th minute when Harris scored from the penalty spot.

The penalty was awarded when Craig Demmin hauled down Braeden Cloutier. Harris beat goalkeeper Scott Garlick to the right side.

Harris scored his second goal in the 32nd minute. Andy Williams found Harris on the left side of the Tampa Bay area with a perfectly placed ball. Harris one-timed a shot past Garlick from 13 yards.

Johnny Torres made it 3-0 in the 64th minute. Torres took a pass from Cloutier and connected from 14 yards out on the right side.

Goalkeeper Jeff Causey, appearing in his first game since April 7, earned New England's second shutout of the season. Causey played in place of Juergen Sommer, who is out for the rest of the season following surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles' tendon.

Tampa Bay (2-9-1) lost its sixth straight.
