Serna scores three for Fusion

DALLAS (AP) -- Diego Serna scored three goals and the Miami Fusion extended its club-record unbeaten streak to eight games with a 6-2 win over the Dallas Burn Saturday night.

Serna's header in the 25th minute snapped a 1-all tie and turned out to be the game-winning goal for Miami (9-1-1). Serna scored from just outside the goalie box into the left corner. Preki and Ian Bishop assisted on the goal.

Miami's Tyrone Marshall fired a shot past Burn goalie Matt Jordan in the 2nd minute of the game.

Dallas (3-5-1) tied the game on a goal by Bobby Rhine in the 8th minute. Dallas' Oscar Pareja fed Ariel Graziani, who set up the goal with a crossing pass to Rhine.

Alex Pineda Chacon scored in the 34th minute for the Fusion.

Miami's Pablo Mastroeni scored in the 52nd minute to make the game 4-1, and Serna added two late goals to complete the scoring.
