TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Mamadou Diallo scored a career-high four goals in his first game back after a two-game red card suspension as the Tampa Bay Mutiny and Los Angeles Galaxy played to a 4-4 overtime tie Wednesday night.

Brian Mullan, who scored his first two MLS goals for Los Angeles, scored the tying goal during second-half injury time.

Tampa Bay was shutout in both games Diallo, last season's MLS scoring champion, missed.

Mullan and Sasha Victorine scored in the opening 2:39. Mullan's goal at 39 seconds was the quickest allowed by Tampa Bay.

Diallo scored in the 15th and 16th minute. The goals came in a 1:16 span, a team-record for the quickest by one player.

Diallo made it 3-2 in the 37th minute before Los Angeles tied it on Greg Vanney's penalty kick in the 63rd minute. Diallo again gave Tampa Bay a one-goal lead in the 78th minute.

The Galaxy had won three straight.

Los Angeles defender Alexi Lalas did not play due to a left knee sprain. After being re-examined, it was determined Lalas' injury would not require surgery.

Before the game, the Mutiny claimed midfielder Brian Kelly off waivers from the Galaxy.
