FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) – Alex Pineda Chacon scored in the 80th minute to give the Miami Fusion a 1-0 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday night.

Diego Serna centered a pass to Chacon, who one-timed a shot outside the 6-yard box that beat goalkeeper Juergen Sommer. Chacon, signed from his Honduras professional team to the MLS over the winter, has scored five of Miami's seven goals this season.

Miami goalkeeper Nick Rimando had two saves for his second shutout, both against the Revolution.

Miami improved to 4-1, while New England dropped to 0-4.
