Razov rings up two as Fire beat NY

CHICAGO (AP) -- Ante Razov scored two goals as the Chicago Fire beat the New York-New Jersey MetroStars 3-1 on Sunday.

Razov headed in a goal in the 41st minute, as Chris Armas sent the ball to Mike Sorber, who passed it to Razov.

Razov scored again in the 56th minute when rookie DaMarcus Beasley stole a pass by the MetroStars (13-9-2), and found Razov near the edge of the box. It was Beasley's first professional point and Razov's 15th goal of the season.

Both teams scored on penalty kicks in the final minutes of the game.

The win moved Chicago (12-8-5) into a tie for first place in the Central Division with the Tampa Bay Mutiny.
