BOX SCORE
DALLAS (AP) _ Mamadou Diallo scored two goals to lead the Tampa Bay Mutiny past Dallas 3-2 Saturday night, extending the Burn's losing streak to four. The Mutiny (7-6) finally notched a road victory after five defeats. The Burn was without forwards Jason Kreis and Ariel Graziani, who had accounted for 14 of the team's 18 goals going into the contest. Both were called up for national team games. The Mutiny went ahead after six minutes, when Manny Lagos passed to Diallo, who blasted a shot into the low left corner. Dallas (4-8-1) tied the game two minutes later, as Eric Dade headed Ricardo Iribarren's pass past goalkeeper Scott Garlick. Tampa Bay regained the lead thanks to Diallo's second goal, in the 28th minute, off an assist from Eric Quill. Carlos Valderrama then made it 3-1 with 19 minutes to go on a penalty kick after Diallo was fouled in the center of the Dallas box. Jorge Rodriguez's penalty kick brought Dallas within 3-2 with four minutes remaining, but the Burn couldn't tie it. Kreis, who has eight goals and seven assists this season, was called up to the U.S. team for the 2000 Nike U.S. Cup. He will also miss the June 6 home game against the Columbus Crew and a June 11 game at Columbus. Graziani, who has six goals, was called up for Ecuador's World Cup qualifier at Paraguay on Saturday. He should be back for the home game against Columbus.
