Trifun has started taking dance lessons with early eighties pop sensation Toni Basil. (Toni Basil sang the song "Mickey": "Oh Mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey, hey Mickey.") Basil is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, and Trifun hopes to visit sometime this week.
Trifun played hockey until he was 18. Then he decided to focus exclusively on figure skating, but he is still a big hockey fan.
Trifun enjoys music, especially electronica, punk, independent labels, and rock. He always chooses the music for his skating programs. He also likes to "mess around" on his guitar.
