Evgeny is one of the only men in the world to perform the Biellman spin. His mother helped him develop his unusual flexibility by stretching his legs against the couch every day while he was growing up.
Evgeny was only fifteen when he burst onto the world scene, taking the bronze medal at his first World Championships in 1998.
When he's not on the ice, Evgeny likes to listen to play computer games and listen to rap music.
