· John Baldwin Jr. is the son of John Baldwin, who placed as high as 4th at the U.S. Nationals during his career in the early 70's. This is John Jr.'s 7th consecutive appearance at Senior Nationals and 14th nationals overall. This year, his brother Don Baldwin joins him in the senior men's division for the first time. The brothers share a house in Santa Monica and both attend Santa Monica College. Their sister, Donna, is competing here in the junior dance event.

· The two brothers competed against each other for the first time at the 2000 Pacific Coast Sectionals. John placed 3rd and Don placed 4th.
