ESPN.COM AND SPORTSCAPSULE LAUNCH UNPRECEDENTED HIGHLIGHT PROJECT

Custom Highlight Reels Bring ESPN Announcers' Calls to Local Youth Teams

ESPN.com, the leading sports site, and New York-based SportsCapsule, a service that creates custom video season highlight reels, have teamed up to offer an exclusive service for youth sports teams, the SportsCapsule.ESPN.com Highlight Project. The Highlight Project will provide 1,000 youth teams with custom highlight reels featuring their team's biggest plays enhanced with graphics, music, effects and play calls by ESPN announcers, including Chris Berman, Dan Patrick, Rich Eisen, Suzy Kolber and others. Registration for the Highlight Project is available exclusively through the site (http://SportsCapsule.ESPN.com) to the first 1,000 youth teams in any team sport at any age level through high school. ESPN.com is part of the Walt Disney Internet Group. · "There isn't a team out there that wouldn't be thrilled to have Chris Berman or Dan Patrick make the calls to their own games," said John Skipper, senior vice president and general manager, ESPN Internet Group. "To be able to offer this one-of-a-kind product to teams and athletes across the country is something we're truly excited about and believe will be a huge hit with kids and parents everywhere."

"We all know that elite and professional teams have access to high-end highlight services," said Michael Paolucci, CEO and founder of SportsCapsule. "Now we're thrilled to be able to bring top-notch production values and nationally known ESPN voices to local youth teams anywhere." To qualify, teams must reserve a spot on the site and send in up to five of their own, self-shot game tapes. In addition to the standard VHS format, teams will also be able to receive the final highlight reel on CD-ROM or have it posted online. The cost is about $30 per player for all editing, production, and a copy for each team member. Participating teams can also nominate highlights for "America's Greatest Plays," a national contest recognizing athleticism, teamwork and effort in youth sports, with winning plays featured online at ESPN.com. Sportscapsule was founded by Michael Paolucci, co-founder of 24/7 Media (NASD: TFSM).
