ATLANTA (AP) _ Damian Rhodes, looking fully recovered from an ankle injury that sidelined him most of last season, had 27 saves in the Atlanta Thrashers' 1-1 tie Sunday night with the St. Louis Blues. Rhodes, acquired from Ottawa before last season's expansion draft, missed more than three months. Bryan Adams' power play goal 8:34 into the game, off assists from Herbert Vasiljevs and Frantisek Kaberle, gave the Thrashers an early lead in the exhibition game. The Blues' Scott Young converted a pass from Jochen Hecht, tying the game with 6:10 left in the second period. St. Louis goalie Brent Johnson stopped 24 shots.
