Question of the Day: Biggest Super Bowl surprise?

ESPN.com

KAPOLEI, Hawaii -- The NFL's best wraps up the 2000 season on Sunday with the annual Pro Bowl. Each day this week, we'll ask players for their thoughts on a certain topic. The first question focuses on the Ravens' 34-7 romp over the Giants last Sunday.

What surprised you the most about Super Bowl XXXV?

Daunte Culpepper
"I didn't watch the game. I made a promise not to watch the Super Bowl until I'm in it. That's my motivation. That's what I live by."
Stephen Davis
"I didn't think there was going to be that many points scored. Those were two good defenses, two of the best in the NFL. I wasn't surprised by what the Ravens' defense did, just surprised that that many points were scored."
Jeff Garcia
"What surprised me the most was that the Giants weren't able to do anything. Going in, I think everybody understood how good Baltimore's defense was but still wasn't giving them the full credit that they deserved. They just once again proved everybody wrong and showed they were the fullest believers in themselves."
Chad Lewis
"Kerry Collins. I have a lot of respect for him. I think he's an excellent quarterback. I'm extremely proud of the turnaround he's made with his life. I'm just surprised that he didn't have a better game. I don't know what was going on. I don't know the inside scoop. But that's what surprised me the most."
Donovan McNabb
"The Eagles weren't there. That's what I have to go with."
Warren Sapp
"Nothing surprised me. I watched a pretty good game."
