ESPN.com

Bears 13, Lions 10
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Jason Hanson missed a 40-yard FG with 21 seconds to go. Swirling wind at Soldier Field. The normally reliable Hanson struggled, and it cost the Lions. QB Jim Miller hasn't been making plays. Opponents are getting more pressure on Miller because running back Anthony Thomas has been injured.
UP NEXT: Lions (0-11) at Bucs (6-5)   |    Bears (9-2) at Packers (7-3)

Bucs 16, Bengals 13
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Martin Gramatica kicked game-winning 21-yard FG in OT after John Lynch recovered Corey Dillon's fumble. Bucs DE Simeon Rice. Gets nod after two sacks and forcing a fumble, finished with four solo tackles. The Bucs are productive between the 20-yard lines, but their problem is they have a tough time scoring touchdowns.
UP NEXT: Bucs (6-5) vs. Lions (0-11)   |    Bengals (4-7) vs.Jaguars (3-7)

Titans 31, Browns 15
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ...
Drew Bennett and Derrick Mason each caught TD passes from Steve McNair in the third quarter for a 31-7 lead. Titans' QB McNair. Got injured, came back and finished with 244 yards passing and three TDs.
UP NEXT: Titans (5-6) at Vikings (4-7)   |    Browns (6-5) at Patriots (7-5)

Dolphins 21, Broncos 10
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Lamar Smith scored from a yard out late in the fourth for a 21-10 lead. Dolphins LB Zach Thomas. Finished with 13 tackles overall, 10 of them solos. The Broncos have had so many injuries on offense -- they're hurting and depleted...All the problems on offense have put added pressure on the defense, but the D just isn't good enough to carry them.
UP NEXT: Broncos (6-6) vs. Seahawks (6-5)   |    Dolphins (8-3) vs. Colts (4-7), MNF

Saints 27, Panthers 23
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Joe Horn caught a 17-yard TD from Aaron Brooks for the winning score in the final two minutes. Saints WR Horn. Had 13 catches for 150 yards and the winning TD. The Saints need to come out and dominate and put people away; they're not doing that. The longer you let an opponent stay in a game, the tougher the game will be.
UP NEXT: Panthers (1-11) at Bills (1-10)   |    Saints (6-5) at Falcons (6-5)

Patriots 17, Jets 16
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Adam Vinatieri kicked the winning FG from 28 yards out with 6:29 to play. Pats QB Tom Brady. Remained composed despite 13-point deficit, completing 20 of 28 passes for 213 yards. The Jets came out aggressive, in an attacking mode, but then it seemed they got conservative -- and the Patriots became aggressive.
UP NEXT: Patriots (7-5) vs. Browns (6-5)   |    Jets (7-4) at Steelers (9-2)

Steelers 21, Vikings 16
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
The Vikings pulled within 5 in the closing minutes, but failed on the two-point conversion, and then fumbled the ball away at the Steelers' 10 with 2:13 left. Steelers WR Troy Edwards. Had a crucial 12-yard TD and forced a fumble as part of the kickoff coverage team. This is two weeks in a row that the Steelers' defense has given up significant passing yards. The D isn't getting the sustained pressure and the sacks it was getting earlier.
UP NEXT: Vikings (4-7) vs. Titans (5-6)   |    Steelers (9-2) vs. Jets (7-4)

Ravens 39, Colts 27
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Rod Woodson had a 47-yard interception return for TD in the final two minutes for the final score. Tempting to give it to Woodson, but Ray Lewis gets nod. He had 18 tackles, 11 of them solo, while Woodson made just one big play. What's hurting the Ravens is that they have so many guys injured up front. They're definitely not playing at full strength. On Sunday, they didn't have three of their four starters on the defensive line.
UP NEXT: Colts (4-7) at Dolphins 8-3), MNF   |    Ravens (8-4) BYE

Seahawks 13, Chargers 10
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Rian Lindell hit a 24-yard FG in overtime for the Seahawks. Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander. Not a huge average, but his 87 yards and one TD on 29 carries still were the difference. The Seahawks need more offense to make the playoffs. But the defense has been playing better.
UP NEXT: Chargers (k5-7) at Eagles (7-4)   |    Seahawks (6-5) at Broncos (6-6)

Cowboys 20, Redskins 14
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
After the Redskins pulled within 20-14 in the final minute, they couldn't get the ball back for any wild finish. Cowboys RB Emmitt Smith. Had 25 carries for 102 yards and his first TD of the season. The Redskins didn't run the ball the way they did in recent weeks -- they came out throwing the ball. And they couldn't stop the run. The Cowboys dominated the line of scrimmage and deserved to win the game.
UP NEXT: Cowboys (3-8) vs. Giants (5-6)   |    Redskins (5-6) at Cardinals (5-6)

Cardinals 34, Raiders 31
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
Bill Gramatica kicked a 36-yard FG in overtime. Cardinals WR David Boston. Had six catches for 106 yards, but he embarrassed Charles Woodson on a 50-yard TD that was defining moment. It will be difficult for the Raiders to make a run to the Super Bowl if they can't stop the run. And if DT Darrell Russell is suspended soon (he reportedly tested positive for the drug Ecstasy), Oakland's run defense will be worse than it is now.
UP NEXT: Cardinals (5-6) vs. Redskins (5-6)   |    Raiders (8-3) vs. Chiefs (3-8)

Rams 35, Falcons 6
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ... Vinny Cerrato's analysis
The teams took the field? Well, OK. It was only 14-6 at the half, but then the Rams scored the next 21 unanswered. Split it -- Kurt Warner (342 yards, 4 TDs) and Marshall Faulk (6 receptions, 128 yards and 3 TDs). If the Rams don't turn the ball over, nobody can beat them. And when Chris Chandler went down, the Falcons' chances went with him.
UP NEXT: Rams (9-2) vs. 49ers (9-2)   |    Falcons (6-5) vs. Saints (6-5)

49ers 35, Bills 0
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ...
The Niners scored five TDs, three in the second half, and the Bills scored none. Niners RB Garrison Hearst. While Jeff Garcia was great again, Hearst ran for 124 yards and a TD on 25 carries.
UP NEXT: Bills (1-10) vs. Panthers (1-11)   |    49ers (9-2) at Rams (9-2)

Packers 28, Jaguars 21
RECAP | BOX SCORE
It was over when ... Game ball goes to ...
With less than two minutes to play, Brett Favre scrambled six yards for the winning TD. Packers' QB Favre. Passed for three TDs and ran for the game-winner in one of his classic performances.
UP NEXT: Packers (8-3) vs. Bears (9-2)   |    Jaguars (3-8) at Bengals (4-7)
