The Maine event got some attention last year -- some very deserving attention, in fact -- after the 10th-seeded Black Bears upset No. 7 seed Stanford 60-58 in first-round action. Jamie Cassidy, who accounts for one-third of Maine's offense, is the player to watch, averaging 21.2 points and 9.0 rebounds while shooting 51.9 percent from the field. She has ranked among the top 10 scorers in the nation for most of the season. Key stat: The Black Bears, who are making their sixth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament, took then-No. 3 Georgia to overtime on Nov. 27 before losing 79-68.
