1. What's the biggest concern for Tennessee as it prepares for Virginia?

Virginia's Renee Robinson and Telisha Quarles have the quickness to match Vols Kara Lawson and Semeka Randall. Robinson is also very experienced, and a hard-nosed kid who isn't going to be intimidated by the name on the Tennessee jersey. She has been through some very close games this year that have steered her to finding a way to win.

Also, the battle between Quarles and Randall will be one of the best one-on-one battles of the Sweet 16.

2. Can Virginia become the second ACC team in as many years to eliminate Tennessee from the NCAA Tournament?

Probably not, although anything can happen in the NCAA Tournament. The matchup inside on Tamika Catchings and Michelle Snow will factor in, but Virginia's front line was the best in the ACC during the regular season. Schuye LaRue can jump, and with those long arms, can play along the rim along with Snow. The other X-factor is the Cavs' Lisa Hosac, a very underrated defender. But can she get help in containing Catchings? If not, and if Tamika gets going, Virginia will be in trouble. To win, Virginia needs to play the perfect game and would definitely have to rebound with Tennessee.

3. How will Plenette Pierson of Texas Tech match up against Notre Dame's Ruth Riley?

The storyline here is Pierson's quickness vs. Riley's size. If Pierson can beat Riley up and down the floor, put on some spin moves in the paint and get around Ruth, it will be a game. But Riley takes up so much space in there that it's often hard to get a shot off, and hard to get around her without getting too far underneath the basket.

4. What is the key to beating Notre Dame?

If the Raiders can make Notre Dame's offense one-dimensional, Texas Tech has a much better chance of knocking off the No. 2 seed. To do this, Katrisa O'Neal must contain Alicia Ratay, or Tech needs to shut down Riley.

Notre Dame's offense often puts Riley and Ratay on the same side of the floor, which makes it impossible for the opponent to double-team both. It forces the opposition to either double down low on Riley, or hang outside on Ratay. But by shutting down one of these two threats, Tech could have the advantage.
