From Coach's Edge Oklahoma came from 17 down to upset defending champion Purdue on its home court in the second round. The Sooners' reward? They get to face this year's No. 1 team. Oklahoma played well against UConn in late December, but the Huskies won't be upset by a Big 12 team in the Sweet 16 two years in a row. The Huskies should have no problem getting to the Final Four, but they'll have to battle tough teams from the top conferences to get there. One of three ACC teams in the Sweet 16, Duke has overcome great obstacles to advance to the East Regional in Richmond, Va.. After graduating three of its top scorers from last year's national runner-up squad and losing a fourth to injury (Peppi Browne), Duke has scraped and clawed its way back up the national charts. But the Devils face an experienced, scrappy SEC opponent in LSU. Because LSU does not have a starter over 6-foot, it must use great court spacing and a motion offense to free up its scorers. Senior Katrina Hibbert, a three-time first-team All-SEC selection, ranks among the Top 10 in seven SEC categories. She is very unselfish and will always screen first before she gets open for a shot. A player like Hibbert is the kind of player who can carry a team deep into the tournament.
