SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) -- Tasha Hamilton scored 20 points and Lori Neo had 17 of her 19 points in the second half to lead Auburn (No. 12 ESPN/USA Today, No. 9 AP) to a 74-55 win over Nebraska in the San Juan Shootout on Monday night.

Auburn (11-0) is off to its best start since winning the first 11 games of the 1992-93 season. The Tigers held the Cornhuskers (5-4) without a field goal for the final 9:20 of the game and forced 33 turnovers.

"Our defense is what won this game," Auburn coach Joe Ciampi said. "We were able to adjust at halftime and come out and really play hard. We also made some important adjustments offensively."

Carol Smith added 14 points for Auburn and Shera Looney had nine.

Margaret Richards led Nebraska with 11 points and Casey Leonhart added 10.

Auburn will play Arizona on Tuesday in the championship.
