LUBBOCK, Texas (Ticker) -- Jia Perkins scored 19 points and Dionne Brown added 12, leading 10th-ranked Texas Tech to a 72-30 rout of Southwest Texas State.

Perkins scored seven points and the Lady Raiders (4-0) hit three 3-pointers in a 17-6 run over the first eight minutes. After Brown's basket made it 19-8 with 9:58 left in the half, Texas Tech never let the lead get under double digits.

The Bobcats (2-3) scored just two more points the rest of the half, falling behind 33-10 at the break. They never got closer than 21 points in the second half.

The Lady Raiders outrebounded them 46-22 and forced 23 turnovers, scoring 30 points off the giveaways.

Aleise Johnson scored eight points to lead the Bobcats, but also committed eight turnovers.
