SPRINGFIELD, Missouri (Ticker) -- Jackie Stiles scored 28 points and dished out six assists, powering 13th-ranked Southwest Missouri State to a 78-44 triumph over Oklahoma State.

Carly Deer added 13 points for the Bears (3-1), who never trailed and built their lead throughout the game.

Stiles scored five points in an 11-2 run midway through the first half that broke open the game. Deer capped the run with a layup that gave Southwest Missouri State a 25-12 lead with 6:10 left in the first half. The lead did not go below 10 points thereafter.

Machell Roberts scored 12 points and Trisha Skibbe added 10 for the Cowgirls (4-1), who shot just 24 percent (14-of-58) from the field and were outrebounded, 44-37.

The Bears had 10 players who saw at least 11 minutes of action, and they recorded 20 assists on their 31 baskets.
