RUSTON, Louisiana (Ticker) -- Kenya Bibbs scored 17 points and fellow reserve Cheryl Ford added 16 and eight rebounds as eighth-ranked Louisiana Tech cruised to a 90-47 rout of intrastate foe Nicholls State.

Bibbs hit 7-of-11 shots in 16 minutes and Ford made 7-of-9 as Louisiana Tech (4-1) shot 48 percent (37-of-77) and won its third straight game since a 69-66 loss at Michigan on November 17.

Kristie McClain scored 12 points and center Takeisha Lewis led Louisiana Tech starters with 11 and 11 rebounds. The Lady Bulldogs got 54 points from their bench and outrebounded Nicholls State, 47-28.

Jennifer Posey and Dana Kelley each scored nine points off the bench to lead Nicholls State (0-5). The Lady Colonels shot just 33 percent (15-of-46) and committed 30 turnovers.

Louisiana Tech had 22 assists against 17 turnovers.
