CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- Brianne Stepherson had 31 points and six assists to lead 25th-ranked Boston College to an easy 80-66 victory over La Salle.

Jamie Cournoyer collected 13 points and seven rebounds and Cal Bouchard contributed 10 assists for the Eagles (9-3), who won their fifth straight game.

Boston College trailed at halftime, 34-30, but shot 45 percent (17-of-38) and went 4-of-11 from 3-point range in the second half, when it outscored the Explorers, 50-32.

The Eagles turned 24 La Salle turnovers into 26 points and held a 41-38 rebounding advantage. They finished at 40 percent (31-of-77) from the field.

Shannon McDade had 17 points and seven rebounds and Suzanne Keilty added 10 points for La Salle (5-5), which lost for the fifth time in six games despite connecting on 52 percent (24-of-46) of its shots.
