BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (Ticker) -- Ke-Ke Tardy scored 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting as No. 21 Louisiana State rolled to its eight straight victory, a 77-46 rout of overmatched Mercer.

Tardy helped the Fighting Tigers (8-1) shoot 58 percent (29-of-50) from the field and remain undefeated since a season-opening loss at Texas Tech.

LSU has allowed more than 60 points only twice this season and has surrendered less than 50 on four occasions, including each of the last three games.

DeTrina White had 15 points and Marie Ferdinand 12 for the Fighting Tigers, who shot 65 percent (17-of-26) in the first half and raced to a 43-19 lead.

Jenny Sensor led Mercer (6-5) with only 11 points. Tracy Henry added 10 for the Bears, who shot only 35 percent (16-of-46) and suffered their second straight defeat.
