TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Angela Lackey scored 19 points as No. 19 Arizona defeated Texas Southern 96-46 Friday night in the opening round of the Insight.com Bowl classic. The Wildcats will face Indiana Sunday in the championship game. Led by Heath Cassady's 21 points, Indiana defeated Middle Tennessee State 81-68 in Friday's other semifinal. Texas Southern scored the first two points but Arizona then went on a 15-0 run. The Wildcats (7-0) extended the margin to 48-18 at halftime as Monika Crank and Lisa Griffith sparked a 13-0 run with consecutive 3-pointers. The Wildcats' largest lead came when Lackey converted a three-point play with 28 seconds left to put them up 52 points. Tatum Brown had 15 points for Arizona, while Elizabeth Pickney added 13 and Griffith had 10. Tonya Thomas led Texas Southern with 19 points. "I'm still looking for five consistent players," said Texas Southern coach Peggy Stapleton. "We did so many things to beat ourselves." In the opener, Jill Chapman added 19 points for Indiana (4-4) and Rainey Alting added 17. "Heather settled down in the second half ... and Jill also came alive," Indiana coach Jim Izard said. "We played possession to possession basketball, and I was pleased at the way we came back to win." Middle Tennessee State (3-3) led 33-29 at the half, and Joanne Aluka and Kelly Chastain finished with 12 points each. "I like it close," said Middle Tennessee State coach Stephany Smith, "because it keeps us intense for the second half, but we just gave in. Their size inside and our inability to get to the free throw line were big differences."
