Brase fires up Wildcats with 17 second-half points

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Tatum Brown had a career-high 30 points and Julie Brase scored all 17 of her points in the second half as No. 19 Arizona defeated Colorado State 89-75 Monday night.

Elizabeth Pickney added 16 points for the Wildcats (6-0).

Ashley Augspurger led Colorado State (5-2) with 22 points, and Jacque Johnson added 16.

Trailing by five points at halftime, Arizona opened the second half with a 16-3 run that featured six points by Brown.

Brown's three-point play helped Arizona take a 76-60 lead, and Colorado State never got closer than 10 points after that.
