SOUTH BEND, Indiana (Ticker) -- Niele Ivey scored 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting and Danielle Green added 14 as No. 25 Notre Dame rolled to its 12th straight victory, an 87-56 rout of Georgetown in a Big East Conference game. Notre Dame (17-2, 8-0 Big East) shot 63 percent (17-of-27) in the first half to build a 49-29 advantage and never looked back. Overall, the Fighting Irish made 63 percent (31-of-49) of their shots and outrebounded the Hoyas 40-33. Katie Smrcka-Duffy 23 points and Nok Duany contributed 12 off the bench for Georgetown (11-8, 4-4), which shot a miserable 19 percent (7-of-37) in the second half to ruin any hopes of a comeback. The Hoyas had their four-game winning streak stopped.
