MIAMI (Ticker) -- Top-ranked Connecticut did not get much of a tuneup for Wednesday's rematch with Tennessee. Shea Ralph scored 21 points and backcourt partner Sue Bird added 20 as the Huskies remained unbeaten with an 84-36 Big East Conference rout of Miami. Ralph was 7-of-8 from the field and Bird was 7-of-7 for Connecticut (19-0, 8-0 Big East), which hosts No. 4 Tennessee on Wednesday. The Huskies also got 12 points apiece from Swin Cash and reserve Tamika Williams to run their Big East winning streak to 19 games. Connecticut shot 65 percent (17-of-26) from the field in the first half while holding the Hurricanes to 18 percent (6-of-33) en route to a commanding 46-17 lead. Camilla Osth had 14 points and six rebounds but committed seven turnovers and was the only player in double figures for Miami. The Hurricanes finished at 19 percent (12-of-62) and committed 28 turnovers but won the rebounding battle, 41-38.
