MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Katie Douglas scored 17 of her 25 points in the second half as 19th-ranked Purdue pulled away for a 69-50 victory over Minnesota, which has lost 21 straight Big Ten Conference home games. Douglas had four points in a 12-3 spurt early in the second half that turned a six-point lead into a 43-28 advantage with just over 11 minutes remaining. She added six rebounds and four assists to help Purdue (13-5, 5-3 Big Ten) to its fourth consecutive win. Kelly Komara added 17 points and five steals and Michelle Duhart chipped in 13 points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Boilermakers. Purdue shot 51 percent (25-of-49) from the field, forced 22 turnovers and had a 37-27 rebounding advantage. Cassie VanderHeyden scored 15 points but was the only player in double figures for the Golden Gophers (8-11, 1-7), who have lost seven of their last eight overall. Minnesota shot 35 percent (18-of-51).
