WACO, Texas (AP) -- Lynn Pride scored 21 of her 25 points in the second half to lift Kansas (No. 24 ESPN/USA Today, No. 23 AP) to an 81-67 victory over Baylor Wednesday night. The Lady Jayhawks (12-4, 3-1 Big 12) struggled in the first half, trailing 24-23 at the break before putting away the Bears (5-10, 0-5) by shooting 55 percent in the second half. Pride's layup with 16:13 left gave Kansas a 33-30 lead and her 3-pointer a minute later increased the lead to 36-30. Pride added a baseline jumper and a layup as Kansas maintained a six-point lead. Monica Arnold's jumper then brought Baylor within 43-39 but the Bears got no closer. Kansas' Jaclyn Johnson had 17 points and nine assists and Suzi Raymant scored 16 points. Mandy Hayworth led Baylor with 19 points, Nicole Collins had 15 and Arnold 12.
