STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) -- Freshman LaToya Thomas had 31 points and a career-high 15 rebounds to help Mississippi State (No. 22 ESPN/USA Today, No. 24 AP) to an 82-58 victory over Mississippi on Thursday night. The largest margin of victory by the Bulldogs (12-2, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) in the series' 26-year history came before a record crowd of 2,253. Thomas was 10-of-16 from the field and 10-of-12 from the free throw line. Sophomore forward Jennifer Fambrough had 16 points for Mississippi State, while senior guard Angela Harris added 10. Reserve guard Von-Gretchen Kirk was 3-for-6 from 3-point range and had 12 points for the Lady Rebels (10-4, 0-2), while Chandra Dorsey had 10. Mississippi State used a 14-0 run to take a 20-9 lead and went was up 41-24 at halftime.
