NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Columbia won the battle between the bottom teams in the Ivy League as Johnathan Reese rushed for 79 yards and the decisive touchdown en route to a 21-14 victory over Dartmouth.

It was the second straight win in the series for the Lions (3-5, 1-4 Ivy), who have taken two straight from Dartmouth (1-7, 1-4) after dropping 14 in a row.

Columbia, the Big Green and Princeton are tied for last in the league.

Reese gave the Lions a 21-0 lead with a 14-yard TD run 2:17 into the second half. It capped a three-play, five-yard drive after one of three Dartmouth turnovers.

Columbia's second scoring drive took only three plays and encompassed just four yards as Mike Glynn threw a three-yard TD to Armand Dawkins for a 14-0 lead 48 seconds before halftime.

Earlier in the quarter, Jeff McCall fired a 77-yard scoring pass to Justin Meadlin to cap a four-play, 94-yard march and open a 7-0 lead.

The Big Green scored a pair of TDs in the third quarter as Brian Mann hooked up with fullback Bob Bunn from 11 yards and Reginald Belhomme crossed the goal line from nine.

Mann completed 25-of-39 passes for 220 yards with an interception as Dartmouth totaled 306 yards of offense to 245 for the Lions.
