MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) _ Two touchdowns in a 10-second span late in the game gave Ohio a 37-25 victory Saturday over winless Ball State.

Raynald Ray caught a 54-yard pass from Dan Jordan with 1:02 left to put the Bobcats (4-5, 4-2 Mid American Conference) ahead 29-25. Seconds later, Greg Baskin intercepted a pass and returned it 27 yards for the score to seal the victory.

Ohio took a 2-0 lead when a Cardinal (0-8, 0-5) punt was blocked and recovered in the end zone two minutes into the game.

Chad Brinker ran for a 4-yard touchdown at the 9:33 mark of the first quarter and carried the ball in from 6 yards out seven minutes and 23 seconds into the second quarter to give the Bobcats a 15-0 lead.

Brinker finished the game with 61 yards on 12 carries.

Ball State got on the board with 5:09 left in the half on a 15-yard pass from Brian Conn to Adrian Reese. The Cardinals struck again at the 2:23 mark with a 3-yard strike from Conn to Scott Volk. After the two-point pass attempt failed, the score was 15-13.

Conn completed 17-of-19 passes for 119 yards in the contest with two touchdowns and Reese amassed 60 yards on five receptions.

Nick Dunbar started the second half with a 2-yard touchdown run to give Ball State a 19-15 lead in the third quarter. Dunbar carried 15 times for 56 yards and Quavis Tate had 95 yards on 18 carries.

Joe Sherrill led the Bobcats' offense with 122 yards on 16 carries. Ohio amassed 279 rushing yards in the contest.

Drew Dwyer caught a 13-yard pass from Dontrell Jackson to put the Bobcats back in front 1:13 into the fourth quarter.
