NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) _ Isiah Stoker rushed for 289 yards and three touchdowns to lead Stephen F. Austin to a 33-16 victory over Jacksonville State on Saturday. The Lumberjacks (6-2, 5-0 Southland Football League) led only 10-0 at halftime, but Stoker scored the game's next three touchdowns, starting with a 2-yard run on the second play of the third quarter. His other scores covered 57 and 3 yards. Jacksonville State (2-6, 1-4), which allowed Stephen F. Austin to compile 515 yards of total offense, failed to score until the 11:47 mark of the fourth quarter, when Michael Daies had a 10-yard touchdown run. Reggie Stancil completed 18 of 53 passes for 224 yards in a losing effort for the Gamecocks. Wes Pate turned in a solid performance for the Lumberjacks, passing for 183 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 68 yards. The game was scoreless until Ted Woodard kicked a 23-yard field goal for Stephen F. Austin with 1:52 remaining in the first half. The Lumberjacks immediately forced a turnover to regain possession, and Pate threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Jay Stegall nine plays later.
