BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) _ Dusty Broderick threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns Saturday and Montana State kept Weber State out of the end zone in a 29-6 victory.

Defensive end Shaun Ross had four quarterback sacks and the Bobcats (3-2 overall, 1-1 Big Sky) held Weber State to just 10 yards rushing.

Matthew Peot gave Montana a 9-0 lead on field goals of 34-, 32- and 44-yards _ the last with 9:25 left in the second quarter.

Weber State (3-3, 2-2) answered with a 36-yard field goal by Mike Minnoch with 2:50 left in the second quarter.

Broderick hit Hobbs with his first touchdown pass of the game with 11 seconds remaining in the half after Weber quarterback Cole Cooper fumbled and defensive end Nick Morasko recovered the ball on the WSU 36-yard line. MSU led 15-3 at halftime.

Broderick and Hobbs hooked up again to cap MSU's opening drive of the third period. Broderick handed off to running back Lathian Tyler, who pitched the ball back to Broderick, who found Hobbs open up the middle with a 37-yard TD pass and put Montana State up 22-3 with 12:01 left in the period.

Minnoch hit a 36-yard field goal with 8:52 left in the quarter to cut the lead to 22-6.

Freshman running back Brandon Vancleeve's first rushing touchdown, a 14-yard rumble up the middle with 2:50 to play, capped a 16-play, 99-yard drive following a goal-line stand by the Bobcats.

Cooper completed 25 of 38 passes for 268 yards for Weber State.
