MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) _ Drew Miller completed 23 of 30 passes for 377 yards and four touchdowns _ in the first half _ as Montana cruised to an 81-22 victory over Weber State Saturday afternoon. Yohance Humphery, Etu Molden and Nate Sanders scored three touchdowns each for Montana (3-0 overall, 2-0 Big Sky), which scored on its first four offensive possessions. The Grizzlies, ranked second in NCAA Division I-AA, led 30-0 at the end of the first quarter, after a 1-yard run by Humphery, Miller's passes to Jimmy Farris, Jeremy Watkins and Etu Molden, and a safety. Weber State (2-2, 1-1) answered with a 29-yard field goal by Mike Minnoch and a 5-yard pass from Cole Cooper to Richard Clark to pull within 30-10. Montana took a 40-10 lead after an 11-yard run by Humphery and a 35-yard field goal by Kris Heppner _ who also kicked 10 extra points. WSU scored on an 8-yard pass from Cooper to Wes Davis with 59 seconds left in the half, but Montana answered with a 3-yard pass from Miller to Molden with 20 seconds left to make it 47-16. Weber State scored three minutes into the third quarter on a 15-yard pass from Cooper to Damon Greenberry. The Grizzlies scored five more rushing touchdowns _ three by Sanders _ as the second- and third-team players took over. Sanders finished with 18 carries for 124 yards while Watkins caught six passes for 166 yards for the Grizzlies. Cooper passed for 120 yards for Weber State, which had 232 yards in total offense.
